  • Topics for reading comprehension, assisted discussion and terminology 1. Introduction: programme of the course, literature Masaryk University, Faculty of Law in Brno 2. Legal studies in Germany, the act on education of lawyers 3. Specific features of legalese and the language of the state administration 4. Democracy - principles of the democractic form of the state 5. Democracy - historical development and forms 6. Fundamental rights - the rights of citizens, human rights, the right to liberty 7. The Constitution of Germany 8. The Constitution of Austria 9. The Constitution of Switzerland 10. State authorities of Germany - the Bundestag, the Bundesrat, Federal President, the Federal Government, the Federal Constitutional Court 11. Seminar work - work on the Constitution of Germany concerning the state authorities of Germany 12. Final test
