The students are expected to have passed the previous courses in the first and the second terms of the first year - English for lawyers.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to expose the students to various types of authentic legal texts - both oral and written.
Syllabus
  • Topics for authentic materials work, discussion and terminology acquisition:
  • Running a business, organization- types of companies,internal management, raising capital, termination of business
  • Family law, nullification of marriage, divorce, rights of succession, protection of children
  • Law and consumers contracts between goods and services suppliers and consumers, exemption clauses, product liability Employment law, employment rights, EU employment law
  • Intellectual property, patents, copyrights tracdemarks, trade secrets,infringing copyright
  • work with authentic materials
