- Course objectives
- This course deals with the selected problems of constitutional law Main objectives can be summarized as follows : • to learn principles of constitutional law • to understand modern problems of constitutional justice • to be able to explain the principles of separation of powers • to be able make a comparison on different constitutional regulation • to learn the basic aspects of the constitutional systems of the Baltic Sea States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland)

- 1. Lecture: Constitution and legal system: problems of concept 2. Lecture: Constitution: methods of interpretation 3. Lecture: Exclusive features of the Constitutions: Baltic Sea States (BSS) 4. Lecture: Constitutional Justice institutions at the Baltic Sea States (BSS): duties and responsibilities 5. Lecture: Theory of The Separation of Powers: the basic aspects of the concept 6. Lecture: The systems of the Checks and Balances in the Constitutions of the Baltic Sea States (BSS)
