Course objectives
The goal of the subject is to teach students the correct procedure for assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, provision and evaluation of nursing care focused on basic nursing procedures and patient nutrition.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- to use the nursing process focused on the work of the dietitian;
- define the distribution and specifics hospital dietetic system;
- to assess nutritional status in terms of general nurses
- assess the risk of malnutrition in patients, and initiate appropriate interventions to improve the nutritional status of the patient;
- serving meals to patients orally and probe;
- suggest appropriate supplements in the form of polymeric enteral nutrition - sipping.
