Course objectives
The aim of the course is to reflect students' ongoing practice, to integrate acquired work experience and to link theory and practice. The basis is the implementation of the theory of nutritional care process into practice as an indispensable skill of a nutritional therapist (nutritional history, determination of nutritional diagnoses, design of nutritional interventions and methods of monitoring and evaluation). The course emphasizes the student's independent work with adults and children in the facility.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: identify nutritional diagnosis, propose nutritional intervention and monitor and evaluate the nutritional care of the patient as part of the nutritional care process.

  • Individual work with a case report and client / patient supervised in a case study on nutritional care principles in the form of presentations with discussion.
