The lectures are continuation of the lectures of the Physics I subject. They are targeted on students of the first course bachelor studies in optometry. - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Optics and Optometry (programme LF, B-SZ) (2)
- Course objectives
- The aim of this lecture is to give and broaden general overview of the basic course of general physic, to give knowledge of general approaches in physics and to understand the links to other branches of science.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to explain individually general principles and laws of physics. He/she will be able also to explain some specific phenomena based on this knowledge in non-animated as well as living systems. The students will also know the effects of physical factors on living systems.
- Syllabus
- Field of gravity Electrostatic field Magnetic field Magnetic field in matter Electric current in solids Electromagnetic field Introduction into quantum physics Electron cloud of the atom Nuclear physics Effects of mechanioal forces, acoustic and electromagnetic fields on living systems Biological effects og ionising and non-ionising radiation Sources of ionising radiation Radiation detection principles.
