Course objectives
This newly introduced subject focuses on overview exercising of substantial problems from the point of view of anatomist, embryologist, physiologist, pathological physiologist, pathologist, microbiologist, immunologist and finally, corresponding clinician. Using this approach we will conceptually approach closer to strategy of USMLE, Step 1.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen porozumět a vysvětlit základní pojmy týkající se regenerace a reparace lidských tkání. Chápe pojem kmenová buňka a rozumí jejich roli v procesu hojení ran. Dále se student orientuje v problematice metabolismu vápníku v lidském těle, jeho významu a regulacích jeho hladiny v těle. Vyjmenuje a vysvětlí princip laboratorních vyšetřeních používaných při sledování metabolismu vápníku.
