Prepare a general nurse to provide highly specialized nursing care of patients requiring treatment methods, the clearing of blood.

Course objectives
Students will be: - Know the differential diagnosis method conditions requiring treatment methods, the clearing of blood; - know way of connection to extracorporeal circulation and nursing care the individual vascular access; - know the principles of patient education; - know instrumentation technology, principles and ways of implementation Blood purification of blood; - know the principles of highly specialized nursing care of the patient in the treatment of the clearing methods of blood; - know the risks and complications associated with treatment methods, the clearing of blood, prevention, symptoms and possible solutions; - know the principles of the implementation of the clearing methods of treatment of the blood in pediatric patients; - know the principles of hygienic-epidemiological regime workplaces performing of the clearing methods of blood. Students will acquire skills: - Implement surveillance, monitoring and evaluation of the status of possible complications and contribute to their resolution before, during and after medical procedures including evaluation of the effects of treatment; - carry out manipulation technical equipment before, during and after the procedure, including setting the required parameters; - provide highly specialized nursing care of the patient in the treatment of the clearing methods using extracorporeal blood circulation; - implement in patient education; - identify the complications associated with the treatment methods, the clearing of blood and contribute to their resolution; - work in accordance with the requirements of hygienic-epidemiological system; - provide highly specialized nursing care for a patient on peritoneal dialysis, including the recognition and management of complications. Students: - Monitor and analyze data about health status, especially physiological function, evaluates the severity of the condition; - participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of technical equipment including cardiac defibrillation electric shock; - value of the function and quality of vascular access for extracorporeal circulation, contributes to the provision of information to patients and their designated persons on the principles of care for arterio-venous clutch and adherence to treatment regime, - Taking care of vascular access after extracorporeal circulation value of the function and quality of vascular access for extracorporeal circulation, contributes to the provision of information to patients and their designated persons on the principles of care for arterio-venous clutch and adherence to treatment regime, - Taking care of vascular access after extracorporeal circulation; - preparing technical equipment and set the required parameters on the instrument; - follows the given parameters of instruments for elimination methods of blood during treatment and identifies the emergence of technical problems; - made connecting patients to extracorporeal circulation according to the type of vascular access and launches their own treatment; - terminates extracorporeal circulation and assess the status of patients immediately after treatment; - performs peritoneal dialysis.
