Course objectives
The aim of the course is development of critical thinking skills through reflection and implementation of the process of reflective nursing practice. The content of the course is a supervisory reflection of the main topic in the context of professional practice. In this subject, the main topic is the study of oneself - ie self-reflection.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will be able: Define theoretical aspects of the process of self-reflection. Use the necessary skills for self-reflection. Implement professional self-reflection. Name the basic requirements of reflected nursing practice.
Syllabus
  • Theoretical anchoring of reflection in the context of the requirements of the profession - reflected nursing practice. Aspects of the self-reflection process - functions, phases, types, levels, methods, skills, etc. Written self-reflection - keeping a reflective diary, professional portfolio.
