- - understanding the process of spreading the disease and the factors influencing the transmission of infections.
- understanding of the risks of transmission of infections in the provision of health care and orientation in the issue of infections associated with health care and their prevention.
- the ability of graduates to interpret and use information about the current epidemiological situation. - Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course on the epidemiology of infectious diseases, the student will be able to understand and explain the process of spreading the disease and the factors influencing the transmission of infections.

- Introduction to Epidemiology. The process of spreading disease. Preventive and repressive measures in focus. Epidemiology of viral hepatitis. Epidemiology of HIV / AIDS Active immunization. Vaccination in the country. Epidemiology of respiratory infections. The eradication of smallpox. Hygienic conditions for the operation of medical equipment. Principles washing and hand disinfection in health care. Disinfection, sterilization. Storage and handling of medical devices Operating Pandemic order, standards of nursing care.
