Course objectives
Focus of the course is spatial creation in the twentieth century mainly its second
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain various type of spatial creation and their continuity of artistic movements in the twentieth century
make deductions based on acquired knowledge from spatial creation in the time connection
Syllabus
  • Comprehensive history of spatial creation (mainly from the second part of 20.Century till contemporary art):
  • Basic trends in modernistic styles of spatial creations
  • Period after world war II.Combined painting, Minimal Art, Pop Art, Conceptual Art, Land Art, Hypperrealism etc.
  • Postmodern period - Installation Art, Video sculpture, Posthuman etc.
  • Contemporary period and styles: Public Art(Street Art), Digital Art etc.
