Students should be able to reflect on the acquired attitudes during their future contact with another culture. The course is recommended mainly to those students who, after passing the course during the semester, plan to go on a study or internship stay abroad.
- Syllabus
- Intercultural communication competence is viewed as a process, i.e. as something what is developing continually. The course is divided into several parts, the theoretical introduction is followed by specific activities and after their completion students should be able to reflect on their own way of understanding values and also other people´s understanding of these values. The next part is focused on the tasks during which students should learn how to understand the functioning of different cultural systems.
