- The subject aims to acquaint students with the basic concepts of the followed knowledge: > Mappings between sets. > Equivalent sets. > Finite and infinite sets. > Similarity of linearly ordered sets. > Binary algebraic operations and their properties. > Algebraic structures with one and two operations. > Study and utilizing of the concepts in school mathematics.

- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the followed knowledge: > Mappings between sets. > Equivalent sets. > Finite and infinite sets. > Similarity of linearly ordered sets. > Binary algebraic operations and their properties. > Algebraic structures with one and two operations. > Study and utilizing of the concepts in school mathematics.
