Course objectives
Main objectives:
To acquaint students:
- with the theoretical foundations of giftedness, talent, intelligence and creativity;
- with methods of identifying talents through their characteristics;
- with appropriate methods for development of giftedness;
- with methods to create educational materials for gifted;
- with methods of using basic teaching methods for the development of gifted pupils and students.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
understand the nature of giftedness of students;
identify giftedness through its characteristics;
understand the principles of fundamental methods of developing giftedness;
create training materials for the gifted students;
use basic teaching methods for the development of gifted students;
do basic selfreflection when working with gifted students;
