- Course objectives
- Students will get acquainted with various methods and forms of work with language material in language teaching at elementary school.
- Learning outcomes
- They are able to evaluate the concept of inclusion of language skills in textbooks and to create their own exercises. They are able to create a professionally correct and methodically coherent form of teaching unit (objectives, content, methods, forms of work).
- Syllabus
- 1. Content of language teaching at school. 2. Methods and forms of language teaching, organization of lessons. 3. Types of language lessons. 4. Preparation of a language lesson. 5. Motivation, Feedback. 6. Complementary materials: texts to practice grammar skills, texts to draw lessons, didactic games. 7. Correction of deficiencies in written and oral manifestations of pupils. 8. Teaching of individual thematic units - student outcomes and their analysis. 9. Comparison of different types of textbooks, discussion of their concepts.
