Cíle předmětu
Modern primary school English teacher and his/her methods in teaching English to young learners. By the end of the course students will be able to prepare a suitable, varied, and logically staged lesson for YLs. Students will be able to reflect on the acquired knowledge and link it to their teaching practice. Students will be able to reflect on their own teaching, receive and give feedback.
Výstupy z učení
Students understand specific needs of young language learners. Students know and use classroom language and instructions at an adequate level. Students are able to design suitable types of activities for young learners. Students understand and apply theoretical principles in their teaching. Students reflect on their experience and develop their professional competences. Students give and get feedback and react positively to it. Students link theory to the activities they keep in their teaching portfolios and explain the teaching principles.
