- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to acquire clear knowledge about the subject of astronomy and astrophysics at the university level. Emphasis is placed on the logical construction of this scientific discipline and on the acquisition of knowledge and skills needed for teaching physics at elementary school. For these reasons, a greater number of tasks are included in the exercises with an emphasis on the relationship of the discussed material to practice, nature, technical applications, etc.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the subject, the student should know and be able to: • Basic laws of the thematic area Astronomy and astrophysics. • Based on acquired knowledge, the student can solve standard problems in astronomy and astrophysics. • Perform calculations of application examples.
