Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the world literature for young adults in partial probes of its development and also in sections that regard changes in the themes. Particular attention is paid to the topical questions of the world literature for young adults and its reception.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • 1. Pojem světová literatura pro mládež, možnosti jejího studia. Mezinárodní instituce a organizace, zabývající se literaturou a knihou pro děti a mládež. 2. Počátky literatury pro mládež, přínos anglického a francouzského osvícenství literatuře pro mládež. 3. Folklorní pohádka v různých národních literaturách, rozvoj umělé pohádky v 19. a 20. století. 4. Vývojové proudy a vybraní představitelé literatury pro mládež ve 20. století. 5. Aktuální témata ve světové literatuře pro mládež od 90. let 20. století.
