- Course objectives
- The subject features the problematics of educational conceptions appearing in historical cut. The training is focused on analysis of influence of period historical – social context upon thinking and conception of pedagagues with accent on condicionality of social reality factors. The purpose of studies is to employ achieved knowledges, skills and attitudes in helping professions. At the end of the course, the students will be able to: - Place and interpret (within the time line) the views and positions in the possibilities to solve the issues of socially handicapped groups within the history context. - Evaluate the importance of the particular authors seen from the point of view of accepting the social context of the time and place. - Reflect and interpret problem social topics. - Outline the present difficult issues of modern social pedagogy and outline the possibilities, based on the reading in the history of education. - Take positions in the topical issues and also nowadays pathologies of a modern style of the threatened social groups.

- 1. Historical – social conditionality of education in antique. 2. Characteristics of education in the period of early and supreme middle ages in Europe. 3. The period of refomation and counter reformation against the backround of the pedagogical – educational approaches. 4. Renaissance thinkers about education, influence of humanism. 5. European pedagogical thinkinkg in 17. century. 6. Characteritics of social changes in period of enlightenment, the new paradigm of education. 7. Influence of scientific-technical revolution on social situation in society and education. 8. Oppinions and practices of abroad social pedagogues. 9. Oppinions and practices of czech social pedagogues. 10. Formation of czech experimental schools, interwar dispute on conception of czech pedagogy.
