Předpoklady
A pass in SZ3BP_1AB1. The intermediate student (Level B1) can understand the main ideas of texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including special discussions in his/her field of specialisation. The student can interact with partners without strain for either party, can produce a short writing on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Cíle předmětu
At the end of the course students should be able to read and interpret short texts related to their field of study, give a short oral presentation on the subject of his/her study with appropriate B1 vocabulary and grammar range. In order to be credited, the student must submit all set home assignments, give in-class oral presentation/interview, and succeed (70 % pass) in the final B1 credit test (vocabulary, grammar).

Metody hodnocení
Examination requirements: 1)Active participation in seminars, 2) Attendance (2 absences admitted), 2) Careful preparation for each seminar 3) Oral presentation, 4)Written task, 5)Mid-term test -(grammar + vocabulary) 5) Final credit test (listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, passmark - 70%) The student who has not completed continuous assessment and all the requirements (including active participation) during the particular semester cannot be credited!
Informace učitele
Úroveň B1. Pro ukončení předmětu jsou předepsány v semestru průběžné kontroly (ústní prezentace, písemné úkoly, také formou e-learningu atd.), jejichž výsledky jsou započítávány do závěrečného hodnocení. K úspěšnému ukončení předmětu se vyžaduje předchozí aktivní účast v jazykových cvičeních, splněné ústní a písemné úkoly, závěrečný test na úrovni B1(70% úspěšnost) a závěrečná oborová prezentace formou pohovoru (úroveň B1).
