Course objectives
The goal of the seminar is to acquaint the students with basic linguistic methodological problems on theoretical and practical levels. At the end of this course, students should be able: to list the basic linguistic terms; to define the structure of a teaching unit; to analyse the textbooks of French; to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at school.
Syllabus
  • Introduction in the methodology of foreign languages teaching. Communicative competence and its components. Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR). European Language Portfolio (ELP). Strategy for language learning. Work with an error. Communication on the classroom.
