- Course objectives
- The lectures deal with the relation of lexicology to other linguistic disciplines as well as to logic, philosophy and psychology, with the sphere of lexical semantics, cognitive aspects of semantics, meaning of lexical units, tradition and present-day situation of Czech lexicography and other related topics. The seminars will offer the students an opportunity to acquire the terminology of the discipline and on the basis of work with specialized texts reflecting the plurality of lexicological (especially semantic) theories to develop their own orientation in the discipline.
- Syllabus

- Předpokladem pro úspěšné absolvování semináře je vypracování lexikologického rozboru zadaného textu, případně referátu z odborné literatury. Požadavky ke zkoušce: Úspěšné absolvování semináře. Zvládnutí problematiky probírané v přednáškách a seminářích a znalost základní literatury oboru.
