- Course objectives
- Second part of propaedeutic subject will directly continue on subject VIKBA01 Information Science 1. Issues in mediation of information, professional terminology, to demand of information career and existing trends of information science are major themes for the course. Students are introduced to fundamentals, reason and current situation of information science. At the end of this propaedeutic motivational course, students should: - Have an understanding of concepts of communication, globalization, computerization - Be aware of and familiar with methodology of information science - Understand the importance of a mediation of information and knowledge and a role of information professional in society - Be able to write scholarly essay
