- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to give an overview of the main theories of personality. The lectures are devoted to selected theories of personality which represent main paradigms in psychology in XX. century - psychoanalysis, behaviourism, humanistic psychology, trait approach and social-cognitive approach. Seminars focus on the practical applications of individual theories in personality research and clinical practice.

Murray. 3. Humanistic psychology, existential analysis: C. R. Rogers, K. Goldstein, A. H. Maslow, V. E. Frankl. 4. G. Allport 5. Behaviorism, neo-behaviorism, social learning theories: I. P. Pavlov, B. F. Skinner, C. L. Hull, J. T. Dollard a N. E. Miller, J. Rotter. 6. Constitutional psychology: E. Kretschmer, W. H. Sheldon. 7. Trait approach: R. B. Cattell, H. J.
