- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to teach students basic rules of web design. At the end of the course, students should be able to do analysis of websites and find mistakes in their drafts. They should be able to create their own websites according to the standards of accessibility and usability. The course is aimed at practical work. We will be solving the real problems that we encounter during the lessons. We will create websites in Wordpress and in Umbraco.

- Topics: 1) Process of creating websites 2) Basic principles of webdesign 3) Information architecture 4) User research 5) Web technologies 6) CMS (content management systems) and future of the web 7) Library website 8) Wordpress 9) Umbraco Students will present team projects at the end of the semester.

- Teaching methods
- lectures, discussion, workshop, group project Regular attendance is an advantage in the implementation of teamwork. The course is suitable for distant students. Terms of completion will be presented at the first lesson.
- Assessment methods
- final group project or written test, active participation in seminars is recommended Active participation in seminars and the development of a team project. Dates and topics will be announced during the first class. If students doo not engage in any project, they can complete the course with the written test.
