- The aim of the course is make the students acquainted with the essential principles of the beginnings and early evolution of greek art from the late 11th to the early 5th century B. C.The student should get the capacity to date and recogniye the monuments of Archaic Greek art:
- Syllabus
- Dark Age p Protogeometric and Geometric periods p, Daedalic art and orientalizing styles of the 7th century B.C., p Early Archaic art of the first half of the 6th century B.C.,p Late Archaic art and the Strict style.p Sculpture, architecture, p vase panting p and minor arts.p The aim of the course is to bring to the students essential knowledge of Greek Iron Age art from its beginnings to early 5th century B.C.
