- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students will be able to explain the key points os Descartes' Meditation on first philosophy. Students also become familiar with the obligations imposed on both the author of a philosophical text, and the critical reader. Students will be able to paraphrase, analyze, comment on and evaluate philosophical texts.

Completion: a precondition for achieving credit is to obtain at least 30 points. The necessary points can be obtained from two sources: meaningful activity at the seminar (up to 10x3p.) or final exercise (up to 1x20p.). It is up to you how to get the required number of points, attendance is not required. Please note that the credit is awarded for activity during the whole semester, not for passing a single final test: the final exercise, therefore, will not be possible to re-write. - Language of instruction
