- understand evolution of relationships between man and plants, origin of cultivated plants. define of main centers of origin of cultivated plants in the World, survey of species from indivudual centers. identify of origin of principal cereals, plants with edible tubers, fruit-trees and shrubs, vegetables, spices. Technical crops for production of sugar, oil, fibres, caoutchouc, wood.
- Syllabus
- Evolution of relationships between man and plants, origin of cultivated plants. Main centers of origin of cultivated plants in the World, survey of species from individual centers. Principal cereals (Triticum, Hordeum, Secale, Avena, Zea, Oryzaa, Panicum, Sorghum). Plants with edible tubers (Solanum tuberosum, Manihot palmata, Ipomoea batatas, dioscorea, Colocasia). Fruit-trees and shrubs (Malus, Pyrus, Cydonia, Mespilus, Sorbus, Aronia, Prunus, Cerasus, Armeniaca, Persica, Cerasus, Citrus, Ficus, Musa, Ananas, Phoenix, Cocos, Actinidia, Mangifera, Diospyros, Anacardium, Pistacia, Punica, Cyphomandra). Coffea, Theobroma, Thea. Vegetables. Spices. Technical crops for production of sugar, oil, fibres, caoutchouc, wood.
