- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Study to Extending Teaching Qualification (programme PřF, C-CV)
- Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in Chemistry (programme PřF, N-UCC) (2)
- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students will be able to select appropriate experiments in order to fulfill general and inorganic chemistry lessons and will be able to conduct didactic methods of their realisation. The organic chemistry part of the course consists of practicing of simple organic and bioorganic chemistry experiments usable in chemistry lessons on high schools. During conducting of these experiments the appropriate methodology and, didactical methods and appropriate laboratory praxis are broadened, respectively.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, student: has knowledge of demonstration experiments in general, inorganic, organic chemistry and biochemistry that can be used in chemistry teaching at high school; is able to select an appropriate experiment for class topic; is able to perform the experiment in the class including a commentary, knows chemical and interdisciplinary context; pays attention to lab safety rules in chemistry classes.
