- Course objectives
- Material balances. Fluids properties. Bioreactors support systems and processes. Systems with immobilized cells and enzymes. Influence of solvents on enzyme activities. Methods of product isolation. Filtration. Centrifugation. Precipitation. Salting out. Denaturation and renaturation of proteins. Liquid-liquid extraction. Membrane separation processes. Large scale chromatographic purification. Drying. Storage and stability of proteins. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: understand to the principes of methods and processes used at the isolation of biotechnological products
