Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain of an application of elements, chemical compounds and their mixtures by human population.
Syllabus
  • Resources base for chemistry.
  • Materials (ceramics, glas, building materials, metallurgic and electro-materials.
  • Plastic materials monomer productions, polymerization types, types of plastic material, application.
  • Corrosion prevention, metall corrosion,Plastic material ageings, stabilization of plastic materials.
  • Fuellings, solid, liquid and gaseous fuelling productions, their application. Lubricants.
  • Explosives, general terms, types, application.
  • Surfactants, principle of actions, basic types, classificatin, production, application.
  • Polish and pastes.
  • Cosmetics.
  • Dyes and pigments, structural principles, types, colouring processes,production of Dyes and pigments, optical whiteners and others.
  • Sealers and lackquers.
  • Pharmaceuticals, classification, structure and activity, overwiev of pharmaceuticals and drugs.
  • Phytoeffectors, pesticides and their classifikation, grows stimulators,plant nutrition.
