- The aim of the course is to offer students a wide range of topics in educational psychology. The aim is to support students to understand the psychological aspects of learning, education and teaching. To support students to understand the determinants of learning in the various phases of human development.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will understand the main concepts related to the Educational psychology. Students will understand the psychological aspects of learning and they will develop the skills to use psychological knowledge in teaching pupils in all stages of their development. Students will be able to distinguish between pupils' individual differnces and use this knowledge in teaching. Students will learn how to use counseling support in schools.

- Applied psychological disciplines in school practice Content of educational psychology The notion of educational psychology Learning processes in relation to developmental stages School age, adolescence - specifics of learning and teaching Cognitive and intellectual factors influencing school success Cognitive styles, learning styles Personality of learner as a factor of success Learning a behavioural disorders Extra - intellectual factors influencing school success Family context, co-operation with parents. Communication with parents Diagnostics of factors influencing school success, educational diagnostics Classroom management, rewards and punishment The stress in teachers work, teacher and health, teachers career.
