- Course objectives
- Lectures cover the classical and the most important fields of interest in computer graphics. These are compared with current research results. Students would gain the purview of the key issues and research trends in computer graphics field.
- Syllabus
- Sampling and reconstruction, alias, antialiasing.
- Warping and morphing of raster images.
- 2D and 3D textures.
- Analytic surfaces. Parametric surfaces, patches, continuity.
- Voxels, boundary representations, CSG models.
- Local and global deformations techniques.
- Space subdivision and searching methods.
- Bounding volumes, bounding volumes hierarchies.
- Realistic rendering models. Global rendering equation.
- Volume and surface visualisation. Triagle mesh decimation.
- Image based modelling and rendering.

- Přednášky: prezentace zveřejněné na stránkách předmětu. Písemná zkouška 90 minut. Lectures, the presentations available on intranet. Written exam, 90 min.
