Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: Reproduce the basic knowledge of skating technique, jumps, turns a pirouette.
Learning outcomes
he student will have an overview of the history of figure skating, will understand basic skating techniques, jumps, steps and will be able to use individual elements in the training unit.
Syllabus
  • heory: history of figure skating, technique and methodology of basic skating, technique and methodology of compulsory driving (arcs, circles, turns, loops), technique and methodology of jumps, technique and methodology piruet; Practice: Technique and methodology of individual elements of skating (arches, circles, turns, loops); Technique and methodology of individual elements for solo disciplines (jumps); Technique and methodology of individual elements for solo disciplines (pirouettes); Technique and methodology of combinations and sequences of jumps; Technique and methodology of piruet, pirot jumps and combined pirouettes
