Student must be able to swim to participate in the canoe lessons.

At the end ot the course students should be able to understand elementary principles of selected outdoor activities
  • trail running
  • hiking
  • nordic, power and race walking
  • canoeing
  • rope activites
  • orientiering, navigation & geocaching
  • bouldering
  • ultimate frisbee & disc golf
  • standup paddleboarding
  • ice-skating
    Activities selection will be depend on the capacities of sports facilities, student performance and climatic conditions.

    Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:

    Assessment methods
    Active participation in practical seminars. Two absences are allowed. Students will take an online written multiple-choice exam at the end of the semester. The exam contains 10 questions on topics covered in the practical sessions of each outdoor activity. Key for final grade: A = 10 and 9 correct answers. B = 8, C = 7, D = 6, E = 5, F = 4 or less. The make-up term is oral.

Classes are held irregularly, mostly on Fridays, by prior arrangements of the students and the teacher. Activities selection will depend on the capacities of sports facilities, student performance and climatic conditions.
