Course objectives
Students will be inform about role of nutrition in correct operation of organism delivery.
Syllabus
  • 1. Nutrition standards - energetic need of organism.
  • 2. Methods evaluations of nutrition.
  • 3. Malnutrition, different kinds of malnutrition.
  • 4. Undernourishment, marasus, kwashiorkor, marasmic kwashiorkor.
  • 5. Specific deficieny: endemic wen, xerophthalmus.
  • 6. Nutritional anemia, nutritional osteopenia.
  • 7. Beriberi, deficiency of riboglavin, pellagra.
  • 8. Scorbute and another symptoms of deficiency of vitamin C.
  • 9. Supernutrition, overweight.
  • 10. Diet recommendation for population in the Czech Republic.
  • 11. Methods of detection of nutrition status.
  • 12. Anthropometric measurements - theoretically.
  • 13. Anthropometric measurements - practically.
