- Course objectives
- This course is taught at Bachelor's degree program. It represents an introduction to psychology as both an academic and practical discipline. The main objectives can be sumerized as follows:
- to understand the style, forms and principles of academic study of psychology;
- to acquire basic orientation in psychological disciplines;
- to introduce students to current ways of thinking in psychology;
- to characterize main concepts and approaches of current psychology (including historical roots);
- to acquire basic psychological terminology;
- to introduce students to questions and practice of self-reflection and to offer ways of self-cognition and understanding other people. - Syllabus
