- Development of academic skills and professional language designed for the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences; reaching the B2 level according to CEFR.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course the student will be able to: - present a brief academic presentation on a topic in their field of study and lead an academic debate - write the summary of a presentation and a text on specific topics - write the argumentative text about a controversial topic

- Assessment methods
- The course is evaluated by portfolio assessment consisting of formative feedback of the assignements done during the semester, among others academic presentation, abstract, summary of a video, argumentative essay.
Active participation throughout the course (80% attendance).
Partial work throughout the semester, among others: self-evaluation form,
argumentative text on topics covered in class;
summary of a videodiscourse;
summary of an article.
