Course objectives
The subject is conceived as practical. Students are actively seeking news from the area of food, gastronomy, catering and therapeutic nutrition, etc. The seminar takes the form of discussions and presentations of nutrition and food news in relation to health.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to classify and critically evaluate information on current trends in nutrition from various sources - lectures, films, videos, publications for professionals or the general public, social networks, the Internet and other mass media.
Syllabus
  • Students will actively search for news from the field of human nutrition and food, including new domestic and foreign titles for human nutrition and will be critically assessed as professional degrees and titles designed for the general public, including websites and newspapers.
