- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the student will:
- be able to explain basic principles of inclusive and special education;
- reflect his/her own attitude towards diversity and its influence on pedagogical practice;
- explain pros and cons of various forms of education of pupils with SEND with respect to the type of pupils´ special needs;
- be aware of the current legislation concerning education of pupils with SEND; - Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will:
- be familiar with the topic of inclusive education;
- able to define the group of people with special needs;
- be acquainted with educational legislation regarding students and pupils with special educational needs;
- be acquainted with basic rules of pedagogical communication with pupils with SEND;
- be able to use selected methods and approaches supporting inclusive education;
- have acquired basic theoretical and practical knowledge for individual work respecting pupils individual needs and work with heterogeneous group. - Syllabus

- 3. Child, pupil, student with special educational needs/disability (SEND)
- 4. Work with heterogenenous group of pupils at school and in free-time activites
- 5. Collaboration in multidisciplinary team

- 9. Support needs derived from a pupil´s cultural environment and other life conditions
