- Course objectives
- The aim of the pre-graduate practice is to examine the acquired theoretical knowledge in clinical practice, to improve practical skills in the investigation of patients with internal diseases. After completing the internship, students will be able to properly examine the patients, choose the optimal diagnostic procedure and expedient pharmacotherapy. They will be able to proceed correctly in acute situations of internally ill patients
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the pre-graduate practice, the student will be prepared to pass the state-rigorous examination of internal medicine after the theoretical and practical aspects. He / she will be able to comprehensively investigate the patient, to propose an appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for internal diseases. Will be able to adequately decide in acute situations.
- Syllabus
- 1.Students are autonomous working at the patients s bed under the physician s supervision
- 2.Perform independent examinations and suggest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- 3.Students are working at the policlinic under the physician s supervision
- 4.Expert seminars are part of the practice.

- Teaching methods
- In the course of pregraduate practice the students verify and strengthen their own theoretical and practical konowledge of clinical examination and laboratory investigation of internal diseases. They work independenty under the supervision of physicians in the various wards and ambulance.
- Assessment methods
- Students work independently under the supervision of physicians at each department. The pathological findings are always consulted with the doctors of the workplace. In the course of the seminars there is a discussion of the more complex medical problems of some patients. Student participation is mandatory. The practice is completed by the State Rigorous Exam.
