Course objectives
The aim is to develop students' own creative potential in order to be able to apply their skills and knowledge from the visual arts to didactic preparation and pedagogical practice. By form of art etudes, we will develop students' creativity and self-reflection ability.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to experiment with artistic means of expression, apply the acquired experience, artistic knowledge and skills in his own unique creation and its interpretation.
Syllabus
  • Introductory artwork (theoretical background). Acquisition of elementary artistic skills and their active use in their own creation. Acquisition of terminology of artistic expressive means. Experiments with various materials and instruments, exploration of the expressive properties of art means. Reflection of own creation and perception - development of communication skills with an emphasis on ethics of formulation of attitudes and professional terminology.

Teaching methods
Activation and inspiration methods, methods supporting creative thinking and problem solving, creative play and experiment. Forms of teaching: in school (within seminars, personal consultations, etc.), but also in galleries (gallery animation workshops, exhibitions, art events, etc.) and part online in synchronous (on-line individual or group consultations) or asynchronous form ( homework assignment, virtual space for sharing creations, perception of others' creations and mutual interpretations and interactions).
Assessment methods
practical creative activities assigned in classes, active participation in classes at the faculty (100%), completion of homework assignments and their timely submission.
