- Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
- to learn to use basic chemical knowledge
- to be able to explain ilustrate exploitation of chemical compounds and chemical reactions in daily life - Syllabus

- Pharmaceuticals (principle of influence, hazards)
- Drugs (principle of influence, hazards)
- So-called hard drugs and class b drugs
- Toxicomania and its treatment possibility
- Unwilling subjection to caffeine, nicotine and alcohol
- - Chemistry and environmentalism
- - Possibilities and resources of analysis of chemical compounds used in daily life
- - Explosives: classification, application
- - Amusing pyrotechnics
- - Applied nuclear chemistry: analytical improvement, nuclear
- - Chronology, industry improvement, medical and food-stuff industry improvement
- - Selected electrochemical productions, hydrometallurgy, electrometallurgy of meltings, electroplating practice
- - Selected chapters of photochemistry (photographic chemistry, photosynthesis, ultraviolet radiation biological significance)
