Knowledge of German on lower intermediate level (B1+) as documented by passing the exam at the end of the preceding summer term; ability and willingness to participate in German based classroom activities.

Course objectives
The course aims at developing the students’ language skills in speaking, writing, reading comprehension and listening comprehension.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to: - express themselves structured and linguistic appropriate to the covered topics from the textbook; - use the acquired language skills correctly; - clarify and justify their own point of view within the topics; - participate on managing of their learning process.

  • Unit 1-6 from the textbook "Sicher B2.1" + additional materials.

Teaching methods
Practical exercises, literature search, presentations, conducted discussion in class, group activities, role playing.
Assessment methods
A written test (60% of correct answers is needed, to be successfull), class attendance and activity, homework discipline.
