Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to understand the specific aspects of children's artistic expression as a starting point for the implementation of art education goals, to competently design, implement and reflect on the subject of art education within the framework of micro-approaches and pedagogical practice.
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to: - understand the specific characteristics of children's artistic expression; - understand the actual goals of art education; - project, implement and evaluate the subject of art education.
Syllabus
  • Children's creative expression as the basis of art education (layout, ontogeny). Education through art. Educational program and changes in the objectives of art training. The school's educational programs. Design of teaching, structure of lesson (goal, theme, motivation, art problem, task, art). Evaluation in art education, self-reflection of the teacher.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation; projects of art lectures; presentation of art activitieswith children as part of continuous pedagogical practice.
Assessment methods
Active participation in seminars (minimum 80 % attendance); written preparation of art lesson; description and documentation of the lesson's course, reflection.
