- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to acquire the basic terminology and gain information about the issue of multiple handicap, definitions, classifications, possibilities of education and support. At the end of the course the students should be able to understand basic terms and make deductions according to the education and support of pupils with profound disabilities and their families.

- basic terminology to the issue of multiple handicap
- definitions, etiology, classifications of deep and multiple handicap
- possibilities of education of pupils with deep and multiple handicap (legislation, schools, educational programms)
- possibilities of support of pupils and individuals with deep and multiple handicap (legislation, specific aspects of support)
- cerebral palsy
- communication od individuals with severe disabilities
- concept of basic (perception) stimulation
