- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to acquire the basic terminology and gain information about the issue of multiple handicap, definitions, classifications, possibilities of education and support. At the end of the course the students should be able to understand and interpret knowledges about the education and support of pupils with profound disabilities.

- basic terminology to the issue of multiple handicap
- definitions, etiology, classifications of deep and multiple handicap
- possibilities of education of pupils with deep and multiple handicap (legislation, schools, educational programms)
- possibilities of support of pupils and individuals with deep and multiple handicap (legislation, specific aspects of support)
- cerebral palsy
- communication od individuals with severe disabilities
- concept of basic (perception) stimulation
- snoezelen
- canistherapy, hipotherapy
