- Course objectives
- The goal of course is getting basic theoretical knowledge about Russian syntax. At the end of the course student will be able to list the basic features of Russian syntax; to confront it with the Czech system, to identify the syntactic construction; to analyze the structure of Russian simple and compound sentences.

- Simple sentence, complex and compound sentence, one-component and two-component sentence, main sentence components (subject and predicate). Evolving sentence components. Complex and compound sentence.
