- Course objectives
- Characteristics of specific learning disabilities - dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography, dyscalculia. Etiology of specific learning disabilities. Approaches to pupils with specific learning disabilities in elementary school. Legislation and action pedagogical-psychological counseling, school counseling. Basics reeducation of specific learning disabilities. The issue of behavioral disorders with a focus on ADHD, ADD, LMD.
- Syllabus
- Definition of specific learning disabilities. Characteristics of different disorders (reading, writing, arithmetic, drawing, musical, dexterity). Causes (etiology) of specific learning disabilities. Speeches of specific learning disabilities, prevention of specific learning disabilities. Characteristics of minimal brain dysfunction, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Symptoms of LMD (ADD, ADHD). Shortages of partial functions, screening of specific learning disabilities. Exploration (observation, analysis of students' work) in common class of primary school. Legislation on the specific learning disabilities. Evaluation and classification of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Education of students with learning disabilities in the regular classroom elementary school. Personality particulars of persons with learning disabilities (emotions, volitional qualities, expression, socialization. Basic information about the reeducation of specific learning disabilities.
