Course objectives
The course focuses on the topics of ethical behavior in dealing with people in connection with the health care, and the specifics of ethical behavior and responsibility to patients / clients and other stakeholders (relatives, legal representatives, etc.).
The aim of the course is to learn students with ethical and professional standards for behavioral analysts, which are defined in the Code of Ethics for Behavioral Analysts (Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts). The teaching will also present and analyze the daily ethical challenges in the practice of the behavioral analyst and their solutions. The aim of the course is to learn students with ethical and professional standards, which are based on the BACB rules for responsible behavior of behavioral analysts.
Learning outcomes
Students are familliar with Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
Students understand the meaning of responsible conduct of behavior analysts towards clients and other stakeholders.
Students can describe and reflect on situations leading to violation of ethical rules and they can suggest solutions to ethical conflicts.
